OperaciónColombo

Key points

1. 1Seminars, workshops and exhibitions in one story
2. 2Collective, intergenerational memory
3. 3Melinka-Puchuncaví as a site of memory

We covered the activities marking 50 years since Operación Colombo, a cultural, educational and political initiative on the human-rights movement's struggle against impunity and denialism. Through seminars, art-led workshops and exhibitions, it seeks to activate collective, intergenerational memory and to reclaim Melinka-Puchuncaví, site of the first hunger strike by political prisoners under the dictatorship, as a place of resistance and living memory.
